Luminous Threadz Branding

Luminous Threadz is a vintage clothing retailer specializing in 90s apparel, and I have led the brand’s visual identity since 2024. From the beginning, the goal was to build brand awareness and establish a distinct presence in Montreal’s fashion scene; since then, the company has collaborated with four retailers, opened a showroom, and grown its follower base by 500%.

Our original content strategy was structured around three main formats: styling content, reels, and item photography.

Reels became an essential part of the brand’s content strategy, especially as a way to expand reach on Instagram. The format allowed us to vary our content, and we often used events as opportunities to bring the surrounding community into the brand’s visual narrative.

Item photos served as the primary way of presenting individual pieces for sale. While they required less production than our other content formats, they performed well because the audience was deeply invested in vintage clothing and product detail.
